HORSCH Avatar er en såmaskin utviklet med tanke på direktesåing, men som også har mulighet for å så i bearbeidet jord. Med Avatar-maskinen sås gjødsel og såfrø etter Horsch sin samsåingsmetode i samme såskjær. Med samsåing kan matpakken plasseres helt opp av såfrøet til effektiv utnyttelse av næringsstoffene og med optimal startereffekt på grøden. Avatar SD-maskinene er enkelt og sterkt oppbygget. De kraftige skiveskjærene med en diameter på 48 centimeter kan klare et individuelt skjærtrykk på 350 kilo og sikrer at såfrø kan puttes i selv den vanskeligste jord. Sådybden styres uhyre presist på Avatar, da dybdestyringshjulet sitter montert nøyaktig der hvor såfrøet plasseres. Et skråstilt hjul sørger for dekning av såfrø. Såmaskinen er i topp stand og klar for bruk.

The HORSCH Avatar is a seed drill developed for direct sowing, but which also has the option of sowing in tilled soil. With the Avatar machine, fertiliser and seed are sown in the same coulter using Horsch's co-sowing method. With co-sowing, the food package can be placed right up from the seed for efficient utilisation of the nutrients and with an optimal starter effect on the crop. The Avatar SD machines are simple and robustly built. The powerful disc coulters with a diameter of 48 centimetres can handle an individual shear pressure of 350 kilograms and ensure that seed can be placed in even the most difficult soil. The seeding depth is controlled extremely precisely on the Avatar, as the depth control wheel is mounted exactly where the seed is placed. A tilted wheel ensures seed coverage. The seed drill is in top condition and ready for use.
