Sand Anlegg på Jørpeland etter Støperi/Formeri

Generelt:
Sand anlegg med 5 sorteringer: Ny sand, gammel sand, sand til resiirkulering, varm sand og fintstøv i stål tanker. Med en
sammensetning av transportbånd og elevatorer for flytting mellom støperi og utvendig oppbevaring/forsyning og påfylling. Brukt i forbindelse med støping av stålgods på støperi. Sandanlegget har eget filteranlegg for oppsamling av fint-støv

Virkemåte:
-Sand fra støpe-kassetter frigjøres i en vibratorkasse inne på støperiet samtidig som en overhengende ventilator-hette tar med seg fint støv ut av lokalet til støvfilteret, over i sekker.
-Den varme sanden fra støpe kassettene tas med opp ved hjelp av en elevator, hvor grove flak/sandkaker separeres før sanden går over på ett transportbelte som tar sanden med seg ut.
-Sand som har høyere temperatur en 50C går i toppen av en egen tank, herifra kommer sanden ut i bunn noenlunde avkjølt før den skilles ut til gammel-sand eller resirkulering. Sanden går i elevator opp igjen til de to tankene.
-Ny sand fylles på fra oven og går i en egen ny-sand tank.

Logistikk:
Sandanlegget er lokalisert nært kysten (ref skjermbilde fra google maps) og kan med fortrinnsvis demonteres og transporteres ved hjelp av lekter eller lignende.
Smelteverket innehar kompetanse og bemanning som kan stilles til disposisjon om bistand til demontering, flytting og eventuell opprigging er nødvendig

Jørpeland foundry sand-facility

General: The sand facility comprises five categories: new sand, old sand, sand for recycling, warm sand, and fine dust, all stored in steel tanks. It utilizes a combination of conveyor belts and elevators to transport materials between the foundry and external storage/supply areas for refilling. This system is employed during the casting of steel products at the foundry. The sand plant is equipped with its own filtration system to collect fine dust.

Operation:

-Sand from the casting boxes is released into a vibratory box inside the foundry. An overhead ventilation hood captures fine dust, directing it out of the facility to the dust filter for disposal.
-Warm sand from the casting boxes is lifted by an elevator, where coarse flakes and sand cakes are separated. The sand then moves onto a conveyor belt leading outside.
-Sand exceeding 50°C in temperature accumulates at the top of a dedicated tank. It descends to the bottom, partially cooled, before being directed to either the old sand or recycling sections. The sand is then elevated back to the two tanks.
-New sand is added from above into a separate new-sand tank.

Logistics:
The sand plant is located near the coast (see screenshot from Google Maps) and can preferably be dismantled and transported using barges or similar. The foundry has the expertise and personnel available to assist with dismantling, relocation, and any reassembly if required
