Porsche 218 bruger en rammeløs blokkonstruktion. Bagakslen er en levende portalaksel , forakslen er en dødstråleaksel med et centralt drejepunkt. Akselafstanden måler 1668 mm. [ 1 ] Sporvidden på forhjulene kan justeres ved at dreje fælgene på den lodrette akse. [ 1 ] På baghjulene har traktoren tromlebremser. Begge bremser kan fungere som en styrebremse. [ 1 ] Både styretøjet og gearkassen blev produceret af ZF Friedrichshafen . Fichtel & Sachs . Den fungerer sammen med en oliehydraulisk kobling lavet af Voith . Standard V 218 er en afisoleret model: Den har en femtrins gearkasse, Porsche-Diesel tilbød et trepunktsophæng som en fabriksoption. Den kan løfte en masse på op til 550 kg. Traktorens masse er 1625 kg inklusiv trepunktsophænget, Malingsfarven er RAL 3002 Karminrot til karosseriet, og RAL 1014 eller 1015 Elfenbein til fælgene. [ 1 ] Standard 218 har ikke en brændstofhane på grund af tæthedsproblemer

The Porsche 218 uses a frameless block construction. The rear axle is a live portal axle, the front axle is a dead beam axle with a central pivot point. The wheelbase measures 1668 mm. [ 1 ] The track width of the front wheels can be adjusted by turning the rims on the vertical axis. [ 1 ] The tractor has drum brakes on the rear wheels. Both brakes can function as a steering brake. [1] Both the steering and the gearbox were produced by ZF Friedrichshafen. Fichtel & Sachs. It works together with an oil-hydraulic clutch made by Voith. The standard V 218 is a stripped model: it has a five-speed gearbox, Porsche-Diesel offered a three-point suspension as a factory option. It can lift a mass of up to 550 kg. The mass of the tractor is 1625 kg including the three-point suspension, the paint color is RAL 3002 carmine red for the body, and RAL 1014 or 1015 ivory for the rims. [ 1 ] The standard 218 does not have a fuel tap due to tightness issues
